Jeff Belk

Chief Executive Officer

Jeff Belk’s role as CEO, first and foremost, is to inspire, lead, and serve the P1 team and its partner companies that align with our vision, mission, and core values. He is responsible for all aspects of the company related to strategic plans, operations, acquisitions, growth, profitability, culture, and stewarding the team and partner companies. Jeff takes pride in growing a business that does so through enhancing lives, developing people, and honoring those that work hard every day at all P1 companies.

Jeff has been in the HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical trades for 34 years. He started and grew a successful market-leading residential service company in Denver, CO for 20 years. In 2018 he exited the business and went on to pursue other opportunities. Jeff was an active Nexstar Network member for 18 years and owes a lot of his success to this organization and the relationships that have come out of it.

During his time with Nexstar, he was fortunate to sit on the board of directors and was a member-trainer. In 2018 Jeff began consulting and coaching other residential service companies and was happy to be able to give back and help multiple companies grow in revenue and profitability.

Privately, the most important thing to Jeff is his faith. He believes his job is to honor God in all that he does. Secondly, his family is next, and he feels blessed to be married to wife Christine for 32 years and share 4 children and 7 grandchildren. For fun, he enjoys being a pilot and flying as much as he can. Jeff also enjoys golf, boating, and most sports.

Justin Carrol

President

As President, Justin Carrol provides vision and strategy to P1 Service Group and supports its partner companies in the areas of leadership, culture, growth, strategy, alignment, consistency, acquisitions, and more. He also focuses heavily on the company’s alignment with our mission, vision, core values, guiding principles, and culture.

Justin entered the HVAC industry in 1999 immediately after graduating high school. In 2006 he started Perfect Home Services, now one of the largest HVAC & Plumbing companies in the Chicagoland area. Justin has been a Nexstar member since 2007 and spent a bit of time training for Nexstar during his tenure. He loves the career journey he’s been on and can’t imagine ever being in a different industry.

Justin believes in honoring God first. When he’s not working, he loves spending time with his family. Justin also loves outdoor activities (fishing, skiing, mountain biking, boating, etc.) and loves going fast (cars, side-by-sides, snowmobiles, etc.)!

Jake Meister​

Head of Growth

As Vice President of Growth, Jake Meister manages P1 Service Group acquisitions with partner companies that align with our vision, mission, and core values, and support those partner companies with acquisitions that fit their strategy and vision. He also focuses on managing and supporting key growth initiatives across the company portfolio.

Prior to joining P1, Jake worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and private equity at Dominus Capital. He received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University.

Jake is an avid Chicago sports fans – even though they never win!

Steve McConnell

Chief Financial Officer

Steve McConnell provides hands-on leadership for functional areas such as accounting, treasury, FP&A, operations improvement, pricing, procurement, risk management, IT, and HR/compensation programs. The Finance, IT, and HR departments provide internal customer service support to the entire P1 organization and portfolio of companies.

Steve has over 20 years of middle-market CFO experience supporting profitable growth in private equity-backed services and manufacturing companies.

When he’s not working, Steve enjoys spending quality time with his wife and running around to watch various sports and extracurricular activities that their 14-year-old son and twin 12-year-old daughters partake in.

Lisa White

Senior Vice President of Operations

Lisa White’s mission at P1 Service Group is to help contractors achieve their personal and professional goals, and to provide support as they navigate the changing dynamics of the home services industry together.

Lisa’s knowledge of the home services industry spans over 22 years. After 21 years with Nexstar, it is her goal to guide contractors to achieve the wealth they deserve from the generations of hard work in their businesses.

Outside of work (which Lisa feels is the BEST job!), Lisa spends her time gardening, boating, traveling, and cooking with her wonderful husband, Keith. They have 3 adult children, plus their little dog Bobo—their 4th child!

Michelle Fadelay

Vice President of Marketing

Michelle Fadeley supports both P1 Service Group and its partner company brands with marketing best practices, in conjunction with personalized recommendations, to build a best-in-class marketing portfolio for their specific market and competitive landscape, with the goal of optimizing lead generation and ROI.

With 20 years of comprehensive marketing experience, Michelle has led marketing strategy and execution for companies of all sizes—from small start-ups and medium-sized family businesses to large companies with national and global footprints. Her passion is elevating marketing performance and effectiveness through collaboration and data learning.

In her downtime, you can find Michelle spending time with her beloved husband, two dogs and cat, hanging out with friends, or advocating for those in need and disadvantaged in her community. She also enjoys escaping in a good book, podcast, or tv series, and is prone to sending lists of her recommendations to anyone who expresses interest. Michelle has also been known to hold her own at a Texas Hold’em poker table!

Dan Friesen

Vice President of Training

As Vice President of Training for P1 Service Group, Dan Friesen supports and develops those in P1’s partner companies who manage and provide training. Together, they improve operations, customer satisfaction, and at the core, the human beings who serve with them.

Dan started in the trades in 1993 and has had continuous involvement since, including 17 years with Nexstar, training over 50,000 people in that time. Seeing people reach new heights of personal and professional growth has proven to be one the most rewarding efforts of his career.

He is proudly the father of four teenagers who bring laughter, joy, and a significant degree of chaos to his life!

Donata Hammonds

Vice President of Recruiting

Donata Hammonds’ goal as Vice President of Recruiting for P1 Service Group is to learn about the current recruiting strategy for each of our partner companies, and then collaborate and offer recommendations on ways to optimize current strategy and produce stronger talent acquisition results.

After 7 years running a successful recruiting company that worked with Plumbing, HVAC, Roofing, and Solar companies across the country, Donata sold her business and came to P1 Service Group. She looks forward to bringing her innovative approach to effective recruiting across P1’s portfolio of partner companies.

On a personal note, Donata is also a patent-pending inventor for a consumer beauty product. She made it to the semi-finals of Shark Tank and just barely missed an appearance on the show!

Amber Karcich

Director of Recruitment

 

Amber Karcich’s primary goal is to join forces with P1’s partner companies to enhance the skills and capabilities of their recruiting team. Amber does this through building out recruitment operating procedures, training the recruiting team, and providing tools and support needed to perform in their roles successfully and efficiently.

Amber has 8 years of experience working in the trade industry in multiple roles, including over 3 years in recruitment for the trades. Her additional trade industry experience in dispatching, finance, compliance, and more has added to her ability to recruit for the best qualified candidates across a variety of positions needed in a successful home service business.

Amber previously served as Chair for a Fortune 500 company’s Volunteer Network for San Diego County. She loves the San Diego Padres and considers herself a steward of local taco shops. She believes benevolence is the key to life.

Kristin Rich

Client Care Manager

Kristin Rich runs the Client Services Department, where her top priorities are to create an amazing experience for clients and to always keep the call board full year-round. She and her team do this by putting people first. They mentor and develop their talented team members, and create and modify processes in order to accomplish their goals and continue to grow.

Kristin has over 20 years experience in client services, management, and leadership, including eight in the HVAC industry. She has had the privilege of working with many different mentors and peers throughout her career, and is passionate about learning, collaborating, and growing with her team.

When Kristin is not working, she’s usually spending time with her wonderful family. She is a busy mom, with 4 growing teenagers. Her son plays high school football, and her daughters are in choir and track. They love to spend time on any water, lake, river, pool, or ocean!

 

Walter Niesluchowski

Director of Technology

Walter oversees IT and other technical operations within the P1 organization. His main duties include identifying the organization’s technology needs and making recommendations to business decision makers, evaluating the company’s adherence to technology requirements for security, and adding updates and enhancements to current technology systems.

Walter has over 20 years of experience in IT, ranging from network, infrastructure, development, and security. He’s never stagnant and continually pushes himself to stay on top of the latest IT and technology trends.

Walter feels blessed with a wonderful wife, son, and daughter that mean the world to him. He originally went to school for film and music, and has a passion for both. Whether it’s on his own or with family and friends, he enjoys investing in experiences (travel, dining, music, and sporting events) over investing in material things.

Denise Swafford

Vice President of Coaching

Denise Swafford joined P1 Service Group to support P1’s partner companies and help them achieve their personal and professional goals, desires, and dreams.  With her vast background in the industry, Denise offers coaching and accountability in all aspects of their businesses, including operations, sales, marketing, call center, dispatch, and finances. 

During her career, Denise has worked with thousands of home service business owners to improve their operations. Through her 35 years of experience owning, operating, training, and mentoring companies of all sizes, she has mastered coaching in key performance areas to successfully scale and grow their businesses. Denise also has the distinct honor of serving as a Six Sigma Black Belt for the first home service company to ever launch the Six Sigma methodology, yielding a $12 million return in incremental revenue on her first project.

When not working, Denise can be found spending time with her family. Six of her eight grandchildren live on the same street, so there is always at least one grandchild hanging out with “Gannie.”  She loves to travel with her husband of 37 years, Larry, and her “baby” Bentley—a 4 pound Shorkie dog—who is the real boss of the household.
